Félix reconciles me with the young people of his generation with whom I rarely have good experiences. He is 19 years old, he is a heart on two legs, a soul sensitive to art with a very developed sense of sharing and fairness.

His neighbor is the sweet Chantal Bourque, from whom he was eager to buy a work of art to finalize the decoration of his room. Even the purchase of a reproduction remained a delicate matter for his student wallet.

When Chantal told me about him, his desire, his sensitivity, my heart softened. That a young person understands the importance that art has in our society, but also that he knows how to appreciate the work of artists at its true value, it strikes a chord in me. When I discovered this Félix whom I had never met, I felt that I had to do my part to help him realize his dream.

Spontaneously, I offered to make him a friend price, indicating all the gratitude I have towards his young artistic sensitivity. He was so happy that not only did he choose the Forêt enchantée triptych on white aluminum, but he also offered to lend it to Chantal and me for the joint exhibition we will be doing at the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges next March.

But what a great gift from him! When Chantal shared this good news with me, I was speechless, without words. And yet, I have an easy way with words. Seriously, I was frozen in front of my screen, my mouth open, rereading and rereading this passage of our conversation.

What is also nice in this anecdote, is that the day before, live, I was talking about giving without expectations of receiving. I was frankly rewarded and I am very grateful.

Félix, Chantal and I have an equal share of happiness in this situation which reminds me that the world is still beautiful and good. It was to Chantal that Félix offered the loan of his reproductions and he probably has no idea of the positive impact his gesture has on Action Déco as well.

My company is still in its infancy, so I have to move my pieces forward by calculating my moves in advance. This gesture from Félix gives me wings, I associate him with those angels passing through the world who are there at the right moment to offer us a comforting word, a guidance, a helping hand.

I certainly sell reproductions, I certainly plant trees, and along the way I harvest and share a lot of love. This is also the power of Action Déco.
