Geographically we know America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Each of the five continents, being a vast expanse of emerged land to which the islands are attached. Let's go further, what about its inhabitants, of these exceptional beings who make that a continent has a color, a soul, a history and a future? So yes, there is the sixth continent, that of the heart, that of all citizens of our beloved land.
What this painting represents for me:
Gratitude, pride, and an unconditional love that is not limited not territorial lines on a world map. That's probably what being a citizen of the world is all about.

For her figurative works, the inspiration comes from the deep impression left by certain texts, by proverbs or by expressions. The words provoke a multitude of images in the artist's brain. That is why her sketchbook contains only titles. These are significant, symbolic and lead us to a reflection.
