Why this title? Containing, content and what the object offers. Here we speak well in double sense. What people are willing to show us by their appearances and what they really are inside. The title of the work represents whoever we are, the appearance is much smaller than what we really are inside. Alas this side too often ignored. We must open up to others, we must communicate who we are and transcend the superficiality of some people.

What this painting represents for me:

Don't close in on yourself, trust the people around you.

  • For her figurative works, the inspiration comes from the deep impression left by certain texts, by proverbs or by expressions. The words provoke a multitude of images in the artist's brain. That is why her sketchbook contains only titles. These are significant, symbolic and lead us to a reflection.
