What Nathalie Brodeur, our decoration stylist, advises us:

The artist has foregrounded in his work all the combinations of emotions conveyed by the presence of red.

Sometimes love, passion... Sometimes anger, hurt...

This canvas is versatile and will be magnificent to give the final touch in a contemporary or modern decor.

You want to give a wow to your office space, an entrance hall or even a waiting room, this masterpiece will be simply perfect.

Easy to combine with different colors and the best thing is that red is making a comeback in our decor. Take advantage of this color and all its variations to showcase this sublime canvas.

Decorative advice from the artist Bolieu:

I always choose much more sober settings for 2 reasons: the idea is to project people into this setting, as you do when you sell a house, you depersonalize. So fairly bland colors for the colors of the paintings to stand out. And never colors (except small accents) of the painting in the decor, always to highlight it.

And as I paint very modern, I often choose the contrast of the oldest or hyper refined decor. The idea is to put the repro in the spotlight. So if similar decor, we miss it.

Interpretation of the work by the artist:

The Confrontation of Forces is over and GALILEA emerges victorious.

Returned pregnant from her triumph, she is now the Great Protector of vast blue lands where she nourishes the precious spark of perpetual life.

It is since that day that within it and under the emblem of its protective mask, Life is born and flourishes. We all owe him our round planet and the red color of our fertile blood...

  • Trained as a hyperrealist, Bolieu has worked and taught this artistic movement.

Over time, surrealism imposed itself on her, it won her great favor and kept it for a long time; it allowed her a playful figuration by distorting the subject and its color, but keeping a visual fully understandable to all.
