Interpretation of the work by the artist:

Nature is, for me, an infinite source of inspiration. I particularly like the aquatic environment. Whether it's the vegetation or the creatures that are there, I marvel in front of all the underwater splendours.

This work where the colors overlap and combine to create a whole reminds me of a coral reef. These lush and vibrantly colored places transport me to a contemplative state.

However, I cannot help worrying about the future of these environments. Coral reefs are dying all over the world. Many factors affect these underwater wonders and, unfortunately, humans play an important role in their disappearance.

The sea water warming leads to coral bleaching, which basically indicates that the coral is starving. Not to mention the overfishing which unbalances the coral ecosystems.

By the 2030s, 90% of reefs are expected to be threatened by both human activities and climate change.

This painting reminds me how precious nature is and that none of its elements are eternal.
