Reproduction of flowers "Effeuillage".

Painter: Anne Savard.

June 2019, Chicoutimi.

What we recommend Nathalie Brodeur, stylist in interior decoration:

What a great way to add an imaginary olfactory touch by using flowers in our decor. Timeless touch that can be combined with all styles.

We opted in this decor to work with the dark blue of the artwork for the coloring of the accent wall. A blue to which black has been added gives us the tone of dark blue and this is what gives the chic side to this color in addition to giving a 3D effect to the canvas.

The colors used in the painting are mainly cold tints that the artist has warmed up by adding a yellow-green. A magnificent link is made with the color accent, the vase and the wooden shelf which are elements that bring warmth to the atmosphere of a decor.

Interpretation of the work by the artist:

It is a unique, contemporary and timeless canvas, worked to the spatula to give it some more madness. I mixed smoothing medium and acrylic for to texture certain places. the heart bomb is made of recycled plastic. The white background brings out the blues of the canvas. These last us remind the azure, the sea and a beautiful serenity…

  • Anne Savard has been practicing her art, contemporary and figurative, for 16 years.

She paints flowers quite naturally. She has a real passion for them. For her, no one can remain indifferent in front of so much beauty, extravagance, colors, scents and diversities. Consequently, they become her favorite subject. Of course, she sometimes moves away from them, but she always returns to this inexhaustible source of inspiration.
