Interpretation of the work by the artist:
This work was started in 2020 during the first confinement. Departing totally from my floral theme, I wanted to free myself from the usual gesture and paint there almost with my eyes closed, leaving my mind free of any gesture, without thinking of the result. A year later, I finally finished this work after great questions. The artwork is painted in shades of blue and its composition includes a certain freedom in the forms. The arc takes us back to the rainbows seen in windows during the pandemic. This arc was placed quite naturally in my first paint stroke on the canvas.

Passionate about gardens, the floral theme imposed itself naturally in her art from the beginning. The figurative gave way to the stylization of floral forms to become more abstract defined.
She decided to work with structural mortar which gives a beautiful texture to her flowers. They look like they are sculpted on the canvas!
