Interpretation of the work by the artist:
The talented goalkeeper Wayne Stephenson Philadelphia Flyers was nicknamed the fort. He was making spectacular saves sporting a typical split of the '70s. His very colorful and symbolic mask inspired me a lot for this work. I chose the back view to show the amphitheater and create an effect of grandeur by a big angle.

Patricia Jean-Cabot draws her inspiration from observation and her numerous researches. The themes she works on: horses, birds, nature, landscapes, are situated between the representation of things and pictorial abstraction. Her technique associates realistic lines and touches of color.
Intense or soft colors are chosen and prepared by grinding natural pigments mixed with acrylic binder or oil. Many earth tones, ochres and subtle blues.
