Interpretation of the work by the artist:
Work all enigmatic in movement and depth that evokes the place of humans in the immeasurable immensity of the world. A young woman cranes her neck heart of the galaxy in which stars and birds swirl. Birth of life ? Desire to fly ? Afraid of the unknown ? The symbols present speak to each of us according to our experience and our imaginative capacity. The natural color of the linen is deliberately left visible in places.
A shades of colored grays and deep blacks contrast with a luminous crescent salmon pink that evokes the moon, symbol of femininity. The artist played with flat areas and lines. This large-format canvas draws the viewer's gaze and encourages them to question the meaning of life.
Envolée de lune - Florence Laurent
For Florence LAURENT, the imagination is filled with symbolic images, images that she lets appear in her paintings. During an unconscious process she welcomes these symbols, builds abstract landscapes from an emotional dialogue with colors.
The state of meditative communion that she feels in front of the mystery of Creation, she strives to find it again at the moment of the act of painting.
