I have sometimes been criticized for being too happy with life, for living in a world of unicorns. I am often told that life is not always rosy. It's true that I live in a world of unicorns and I really don't hide from it. However, if situations arise, let's say pale pink or grey, I am perfectly aware that there is a learning curve, the premise of a life change, a lesson not to be repeated. My rational side sees clearly, it just doesn't let itself be clouded by these temporary clouds, however big they may be.

Take this example to illustrate my point. When I had the idea of Action Déco, I intended that my site would quickly become a reference for buying art reproductions, just as Amazon is a reference for online shopping. And this, from the first year of existence, no less. Did I succeed? No. On the contrary, there were more adjustments than expected, I changed my approach several times. I've told you about my artists, decoration, emotion, tree planting. There is a lot to confuse people. I understand it, I agree, I persevere.

Will people eventually flock to buy my white aluminum and acrylic art reproductions online? I hope so, to my artists and me. Until that time comes, I am not sitting idly by, I am working steadily and wholeheartedly and opening myself to the possibilities. I am grateful for the opportunities that present themselves and make Action Deco known in a different way. Museums (yes, yes, a second one is coming!), international exhibitions, my new role as an art broker.

I accept that it is otherwise, and you know what? I love what's going on. I welcome, I accept, I thank. My basic needs are generously met here and now, that's what's important. I am so focused on my mission to reforest the planet that I don't care about traveling or owning a fancy house. As long as I'm warm and there's something to eat and chocolate, I'm happy.

It will be a great accomplishment to be a reference in my field. I would be more than happy to write big royalty checks to my artists and tell the Fondation SETHY that I am giving them money to plant thousands of trees.

It's just not the right time, as I write this, to claim to be the Amazon of art. Should I get angry, should I cry about it? No. I simply go about my business in pleasure, in love with my artists and my own, my four-legged ones, with what I have in the moment.
